Will the surgery take place this summer?

Hi,

I hope someone can help me with this horary as I am quite new to this method.

I will be undergoing surgery and hope to get it done this summer. Is the question even valid since the Ascendant is at 27 degrees?
Also, Mars as the ruler of the AC is about to change signs. If Venus as ruler of the Descendant represents the surgeon/hospital, could the applying conjunction to Saturn mean "no"?

Thank you!

Hi @Monaki

I also was noticing that late Ascendant, which suggests that for some reason, it is a bit late for making this arrangement.

I was thinking that Mars, ruler of Asc, is approaching Venus, ruler of 6h of surgery. As Venus and Mars are some 12degrees apart, it could be that in 12 units of time (months, possibly?), the surgery takes place.

Yes, Saturn could be creating the delay that creates this much lengthier time-scale. Also, Saturn is co-ruler of 2h of money, so that could play a part. Obviously, I don't know the financial ins and outs of your situation (and I would not be prying, either), but if it is a state-run hospital that would carry out the surgery, it could be about their funds, rather than your personal funds (if it is a state-run outfit, this might also account for the late Ascendant - if the hospital has an issue with funding, then they might already be pushing everything back in the calendar. As Saturn denotes age also, I wonder if surgeons with the requisite skills might be in short supply - retirement affecting available talent, for example?).

Mars is in Saturn's degrees of Aquarius, so Saturn does play a strong role here in the question.

Please let us know the calendar outcome, in due course.

Thank you, @etherea. :)

Horaries are still often a mistery to me. Lots of learning to be done.

At least two additional surgeries are planned. With any luck, I can have the first one in the summer. That depends on the healing of my previous surgery and a necessary pre-treatment that has to be carried out before the next surgery (in summer?).

Mars changing signs means a change in the story. Then Saturn hands the rulership over to Jupiter. Do you consider Jupiter the second ruler of the querent? It's in the 6th (illness). The Moon will square Jupiter before it makes a trine to Mercury (ruler of 7th).

I have to pay for the surgeries myself. Apart from the initial shock at the high costs, which were completely unforeseeable, this is luckily only the smallest problem.
As Venus and Mars are some 12degrees apart, it could be that in 12 units of time (months, possibly?), the surgery takes place.

Makes sense. I hope it's only 12 weeks (around June / July), though.

ascendent is late degree, the answer to your question is: no.

the chart cannot be interpreted any further, because of the late degree ascendent.

A late ascendant does not mean "no".
Rather, it is one of the well-known strictures against judgement. And even though a judgment may not be rendered, this doesn't mean the horary can't be read.

A late ascendant can also imply that the energy behind what's been queried is either losing momentum and/or about to change.

More concerning is that Venus (L7] is besieged -- situated between the two malefics, Mars and Saturn.

and does that mean, that the answer to your original question is: no?
because that is my experience with a late degree ascendent in a horary. is that in your case matching? 🙂

No, it doesn't mean no.

I was advised by my surgeon to undergo a specific pre-treatment before the next surgery can take place.
Yesterday I went to a specialist for the pre-treatment who could not confirm the diagnosis. So no pre-treatment is necessary. Meaning the surgical procedure can be carried out.
However, I have decided to leave the subject alone for the time being, because medical treatment can also be a stressful experience.
